Down to two days before the announcement of the make magazine Halloween contest and I’m anxious to see where I place. I would live to get the PIC controller but just an honorable mention would be an accomplishment in my eyes. It wil not be long before the results are in and all any of us can do is wait. 

It is nice to see some videos of Howl-o-Scream placed up on the net by other people such as ragenx on YouTube. The event deserves more attention than it gets and footage is not easy to shoot or edit. Mine looks rather bad this year so I have not yet edited it. Going on the last night was my only opportunity but I got to go none the less. Ill try to edit my footage next chance I get and post it. I have placed some video ragenx has shared on YouTube here but you can check out all his videos here. I would like to formally thank him for posting these!

The last video I made shows my haunt torn apart and ready to put away for the year along with what I got for next year from the after Halloween sales. I did get more than normal considering I had two canceled trips opening the budget for more props but I did go overboard. Way Overboard! It will make for an interesting haunt in 2007 an worth it in the end. You will also find some haunting tips in the article and video I hope others find useful. Make me feel better about busting the bank on this and check out the article .

There is still a little more to do for the 2006 season as far as I am concerned but Halloween is always in the back of my head. The end of hallo ween this year is just the beginning of next year for me. New props, concepts and interesting devices will be attempted in the coming months but you never know what makes it in the Haunt till the 31^st of October. 

As I said before, don’t bury me yet!
